If you take a look closely, there’re quite some issues.

I wish there were more customization possible. The support is okay.

I feel like these social media feeds are expensive for what they offer.

The adapter is a solid product, but if lead content is of importance to your application, be aware that it contains a significant amount of lead.

I would not use this in any application where you’re going to be drinking the water nor would I use it to fill drinking troughs for animals.

I’m not sure how bad it would be for watering plants or soil, but as the saying goes, you reap what you sow. If you’re going to eat any of the plants, it might not be wise.

For laundry, washing cars, etc… it’ll probably be alright.

Was skeptical thinking this would be cheap metal and only 1 side would turn to tighten. But pleasantly surprised, I need a double female and for a hose cart and these worked perfect. Made of a heavier metal than I expected and both sides turn nice and easy, along with a great grit to grip and turn by hand. Sealed with no problem and havent had a worry since. Would buy again. Seller was on time and product arrived in good condition

These are first quality adapters, you get 2 male and 2 female. More than enough to meet any need you may have and the price you can’t beat it. I found just a male adapter at a local hardware store for 8.99. So do the math, this is a great deal.

The thread on these is the correct diamaeter but THE WRONG PITCH for tap/hosepipe connectors.
The thread pitch is more coarse, so about three three teeth on these = FOUR/FIVE on hosepipe connectors, which is why the leak.
Furthernmore if you do manage to tighten them up enough (as they will go onto plastic connectors), you will have ruined the connector you’ve just put them on.

My house has gotten dirty from all the rain we’ve had so far this year. I determined it was time to put my pressure washer to use, but I’ve always had a problem attaching the garden hose to it. It was a struggle the last time I tried, but this time it was just impossible. Perhaps the threads on the male end of the hose were slightly out-of-round. I don’t know. I just struggled for a half hour trying to screw the hose into the pressure washer without any luck. Then I decided to look for some kind of adapter that might work and found this one. The first time I tried, it screwed into the washer and then I connected the hose to the adapter! It worked perfectly. I’m so glad I found this. It seems very sturdy and well-made; and shiny. Thanks to this adapter my house is now much cleaner looking!

Cutting grass over my just moved, cold (non flexible) garden hose, I accidentally cut it. The built in wire stiffener precluded (without a major leak) use of one of those internal 2 way male inserts with outer clamps. Using one of these handy things, I was able to salvage the hose length! It now ends with just a plastic hose end (no threaded metal) but that works fine for me to watering plants and dwarf fruit trees from a rain barrel! Saved money and kept a hose out of the landfill! Lesson learned-if you move a cold garden hose to mow, it will not lay flat! I can usually mow over hoses with 2 1/2″ setting, but not over a cold, just moved hose.
