Supplier misled customers with quick connect type. It is Q-Type (Nitto, Japan) that is NOT in use in North America. If you want to connect to a standard air compressor you will need male/female pieces with 1/4 NPT thread, see the picture. Left, supplied Q-Type, right – most popular M-Type male part.

The adjustable pressure valve broke on my Craftsmen tank compressor. The OEM replacement was about 48$ + shipping …. Yikes! Amazon to the rescue. I found this one at a reasonable price and decided to take a chance. It worked flawlessly and was installed in less than 5 minuets which include removing the broken one.

After all this time I finally got this installed on my compressor. Took a while as is not I immediately clear how to do the install. First, get some Teflon tape and wrap a couple grubs on ALL fittings. The fitting on the left side of the flyer is NOT needed. Remove it and replace it with a double ended male threaded fitting. Install one end to your compressor. Unscrew the moisture trial from the bottom of the filter and screw it on to the double male firing. Adjust the filter as vertical as possible and replace the moisture tap. This made mine fit very securely, and I was able to set the main pressure valve to 50 psi, and the filter to 25 psl. No leaks, works great! Increasing the main valve will increase the filter pressure also. I set the main valve for 60 psi and the filter valve to 45 psi, which I use to top off tie pressure,and seems to give longer use between the compressor starting to fill track. I have a 2.5 hl, 10 gal compressor, and it works great. Planning on using it for airbrush work, also. ..

I bought this to replace a cracked moisture trap. Comes with everything you need need to replace the old Regulator including the silicon sealant tape. Works great!
